Within The Eye

This is a quick update to hold you over as I’m scrambling around trying to get things done.
Fact: I love texture photos. This is not the most eye-catching photo, but study it.
When I can imagine how a surface feels, just by looking at it, it brings a smile to my face.
I took this photo outside of my friends Ian & Christie’s old apartment.
Splintered. Chipped. Cracked. Faded. Loose. Broken. Rich. Rough. Gritty.
Weathered and worn, the siding remains mostly intact and I wanted to capture it.
Texture photos combined with weathered photos might be the greatest thing ever!
Study the overlooked and find joy in the simplicity of the life outside your doorstep.
You may find there is beauty right outside your pupils that is begging to be adored.
